Foot Pain
Foot pain can affect the heels, arches, balls of the feet, or the entire foot. It may come from poor foot mechanics, prolonged standing, repetitive stress, improper footwear, or conditions like plantar fasciitis and arthritis, and it often feels like aching, burning, or sharp tenderness after walking or long hours on your feet. FootTek custom orthotics are made for your foot structure and walking pattern, improving weight distribution and adding targeted cushioning to reduce pressure on sensitive areas.

Ankle Pain
Ankle pain can come from repetitive stress, tendon irritation, past sprains, arthritis, or poor foot alignment. When the foot rolls too far inward (overpronation) or outward (supination), it can put extra stress on the ankle joint and tendons, causing aching, stiffness, swelling, or a feeling of instability. FootTek custom orthotics provide a stable foundation and may help control excessive rolling, reducing strain on certain ankle structures and improving walking confidence.

Knee Pain
Posterior tibial tendonitis affects the tendon along the inside of the ankle that helps support your arch. It can cause pain, swelling, and tenderness in the inner ankle and arch, and over time may contribute to a flattening arch. FootTek custom orthotics provide supportive arch control and stability to reduce strain on the tendon. Depending on severity, additional support or medical bracing may be needed.

Hip Pain
Hip pain can come from arthritis, repetitive stress, past injuries, or changes in how you walk, and it isn’t always caused by the hip itself. The way your feet function affects how forces travel up through your ankles, knees, and hips, so flat feet, overpronation, or uneven weight distribution may contribute to some hip discomfort. FootTek custom orthotics support your feet and improve stability, which may reduce certain stresses on the lower body. They’re most helpful when foot mechanics are part of the problem.

Back Pain
Back pain has many causes, and it isn’t always related to your feet. For some people, though, how the feet support the body can affect posture, alignment, and how forces travel up through the legs to the lower back. Flat feet, overpronation, or uneven weight distribution may contribute to certain types of back discomfort. FootTek custom orthotics improve foot stability and weight distribution, which may reduce some of that stress. Orthotics won’t help every type of back pain.

Joint Pain
Falls, twists, sports, and accidents can cause ankle sprains, tendon strains, ligament injuries, and stress fractures, and some people have lingering discomfort or reduced stability after healing. After appropriate medical treatment and recovery, FootTek custom orthotics may add support, cushioning, and stability. They are not a substitute for medical assessment, immobilization, or rehabilitation when needed.
