Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is irritation of the thick band of tissue connecting your heel to your toes. It often causes sharp heel pain with your first steps in the morning or after sitting. FootTek custom orthotics support the arch, improve weight distribution, and add heel cushioning to reduce strain on the plantar fascia, so walking and standing are more comfortable.

Arch Pain
Arch pain happens when the muscles, ligaments, and tendons that support your arch are strained or overloaded, often from flat feet, high arches, or overpronation. You may feel aching, burning, or sharp discomfort along the bottom or inside of your foot. Custom orthotics give your arch individualized support and a more stable foundation, which may relieve strain and improve everyday comfort.

Flat Feet
Flat feet, or fallen arches, occur when the arches are very low or flatten when you stand. Some people feel nothing, while others get foot fatigue, arch or heel pain, or ankle instability. FootTek custom orthotics support the arch and help manage excessive inward rolling, which may reduce strain on muscles and tendons and make long periods of standing and walking more comfortable.

High Arches
High arches stay unusually elevated, even when you stand, so more pressure lands on the heel and ball of the foot. This can cause foot pain, calluses, instability, or recurring ankle sprains. FootTek custom orthotics add arch support and targeted cushioning to spread pressure more evenly across the foot, improving stability, shock absorption, and walking comfort.

Heel Pain & Heel Spurs
Heel pain can come from plantar fasciitis, repetitive impact, or excessive pressure when standing and walking. Heel spurs are bony growths that develop over time and don’t always cause pain. FootTek custom orthotics add heel cushioning and arch support to ease pressure beneath the heel. Orthotics do not remove heel spurs, but they may help with the mechanical discomfort that comes with them.

Overpronation
Overpronation is when the foot rolls too far inward while you walk or run. It can strain the arches, ankles, and surrounding muscles and tendons, and it’s often linked to flexible flat feet. FootTek custom orthotics provide personalized arch support to help manage excessive inward rolling and improve stability, without taking away natural foot movement.

Metatarsalgia
Metatarsalgia is pain and inflammation in the ball of the foot, just behind the toes. It often feels like burning, aching, or stepping on a small pebble, and it can come from high arches, thinning foot cushioning, repetitive impact, or poor footwear. FootTek custom orthotics can include forefoot cushioning and a metatarsal pad to redistribute pressure away from sensitive areas.

Morton’s Neuroma
Morton’s neuroma is irritation and thickening of tissue around a nerve in the forefoot, usually between the third and fourth toes. It can cause burning, tingling, numbness, or the feeling of a pebble in your shoe. FootTek custom orthotics use metatarsal support and cushioning to reduce pressure on the affected area. Orthotics may help manage symptoms but do not eliminate the neuroma itself.

Bunions
A bunion develops when the big toe shifts toward the smaller toes, creating a bump on the inside of the foot that can be painful, red, and irritated in tight shoes. FootTek custom orthotics add support and redistribute pressure around the forefoot to improve everyday comfort. They cannot reverse or straighten an existing bunion, and they work best with properly fitting footwear.

Arthritic Foot Pain
Arthritis can cause pain, stiffness, and swelling in the toes, midfoot, and ankle joints, making everyday movement harder. FootTek custom orthotics provide personalized cushioning, support, and pressure redistribution to reduce stress on painful joints and help you stay active. Orthotics do not treat the arthritis itself, but they can help manage mechanical discomfort.

Neuropathy
Peripheral neuropathy damages nerves in the feet, causing burning, tingling, numbness, or loss of feeling, which makes it easier to miss pressure points and skin injuries. FootTek custom orthotics use softer, accommodative materials to reduce pressure and friction. They cannot restore damaged nerves. Check your feet daily and keep up regular professional foot exams.

Diabetic Foot Protection
Diabetes can affect circulation, nerve function, and how well skin heals, so small blisters, calluses, or rubbing can become serious. FootTek custom orthotics use accommodative cushioning and pressure-relieving materials to spread weight evenly and reduce friction inside proper footwear, as one part of a complete foot-protection plan. If you have neuropathy, poor circulation, or past ulcers, have a medical professional assess your footwear and orthotic needs.
